When placing puppies, we do take temperament into account for placement, we do the Valhard test for this, and we will help families by giving our insight as to which puppy may be the best fit. Our puppies receive a parvo vaccine, are dewormed, microchipped, have a wellness exam, & will have a go-home kit, including their registration papers.
I also offer Raw Food recipes to families that are interested in learning.
The Swissie’s strength, confidence and outgoing nature is why we fell in love with this breed, We are not "show dog people", although we've imported our girl Opal from champion show lines in Poland to ensure proper conformation, We have shown her daughter Lady, in a few AKC conformation events, we hope to continue learning, and trying new things.
I strive to raise sound, well rounded, companion puppies, my kids spend A LOT of time with our litters, which helps condition our pups by being frequently handled and socialized, Puppies are raised around our chickens as well as other friendly dogs, and our horses.
When I came across the many potential health challenges of the Swissy in my research of the breed, it led me to begin researching raw food, the research convinced me, raw would be best for our dogs and future puppies, maybe even the best possible start.
So here we are 5 years in, and I have to raised Opal (our founder bitch) and now her puppy Lady on an all raw diets, As well as wean our litters onto raw diets, It has not disappointed, We are proudly producing 3rd generation raw fed puppies!
Meal prepping raw is involved and does require time and educating yourself on the basics, It can be dangerous if vital nutrients are missed (why I highly recommend a dog nutritionalist) when creating raw meals. The meals I make vary, to some degree, each day, and if you DIY, it does take a lot of time in the beginning.
My commitment to our dogs and to their new families is lifelong. I will always take one of our puppies back, should the situation ever require it, they have a home here.
